Uslan, Nat -- 8' 2/2 5-6wt Bamboo RodFor sale here is a pentagonal Nat Uslan "Spencer Rod" Model no. LFS8500 8' 2 2 5 6wt bamboo rod. Serial no. 2219. One of the tips is a later replacement. Made in the early 1950's, the rod remains in excellent+ condition having been fished sparingly. All sections are full length with a slight set in the replacement tip. Uslan is best known for making quality rods and being one of the main innovators of the five sided rod. The rod features impregnated
made between 1928 and 1939
South Creek rods are rarely seen on the secondary market
The rod is in excellent overall condition
forest green color preserved wraps with red tipping
This rod could not have been fished much -- a few of the spots where varnish collected in the guides has not worn off
