The spool is 0. 70" wide. It features highly polished aluminum rings with delrin sideplates. Stainless screws. The spools are one piece aluminum machined from bar stock. The reel foot is stamped Saracione with the reel's serial number. The backplate has a nickel silver plate stamped with "Tom Morgan
