Spectacular 1/6th Plate Post-Mortem Ambrotype Photo of John Whaley, Died 1856, With Bonus Ambrotype of His WifeWhen I went to look behind this ambrotype post mortem, I found that the backing being used was a ruby ambrotype of a woman, flipped backwards. Paper clippings with the photos identity the couple, presumably, as John Whaley (Died 1856) and wife Mary Brown Whaley (Died 1890), Parents of Robert H. Whaley.

This machine comes in the Sea Blue color and features the Pica typeface

The cap of the scope is marked "Made in France

Otherwise she is in good condition

Here is a great six piece World War Two patch lot

This mug is in good condition with no noticeable chips or cracks on the outside

rather than transparent slides

There is a small scratch on the frame by the right man's head

This particular vase is more common in blue

the famous character created by cartoonist Rose O'Neill in the early 20th century

The whole tray is approximately 14" across

" translated as Francis Joseph the Imputrescible

The painting is in good condition with minor staining and other mild signs of wear
