Charlotte Perriand had selected the chairs for use in the Les Arcs ski resort in France. This gorgeous set of six chairs came from a notable estate in North Carolina, along with some special pieces from Laverne and Venini. Charlotte Perriand began designing the project at Les Arcs in 1967 and it continued until 1982. The cognac leather shows a

The base uses cables to act in a load bearing manner

The top looks lovely and shows very little signs of use or wear otherwise

The piece was custom fabricated and would have likely been used in an original Graves building
